Return & Refund Policy

Effective date: February 13, 2026Iron Leaf Tea Co. (“Iron Leaf,” “we,” “us”) is a small-batch tea shop and online store. Because many of our products are food items, we follow strict safety standards.

Quick summary

  • Food & drink items are final sale for safety reasons (no returns/exchanges once they leave our shop).

  • If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing, we’ll make it right.

  • If a non-food item (like certain merchandise) arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace it or refund it.

In-store purchases (Johnson City, TN)

Prepared drinks

All prepared drinks are final sale once handed off.

If there’s an issue with your drink (wrong item, incorrect customization, etc.), please let us know right away at the counter. We’ll confirm the order and remake it when appropriate.

Packaged tea & edible products

All packaged tea, sample packs, and edible products are final sale once purchased.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or received the wrong item, please contact us within 24 hours with your receipt.

Online store purchases

Food items (tea, sample packs, tea box samplers, tea bag sets, and other consumables)

For safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on consumable items.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll offer one of the following, depending on the situation:

  • Replacement shipment (when available)

  • Store credit

  • Refund to your original payment method

Non-food items (merchandise)

If we offer non-food items (such as cups or accessories), they may be eligible for return.

Return window: Request a return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

If the item is damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund it.

Shipping issues & delivery problems

If tracking shows your package was delivered but you can’t locate it, please:

  1. Check around your delivery location and with neighbors/building staff

  2. Contact the carrier with your tracking number

  3. Message us within 7 days so we can help

How to request help

Email us at sales@ironleafteaco.com with:

  • Your order number (or receipt info)

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of damage (if applicable)

Refund timing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method. Banks and card issuers may take 3–10 business days to post the refund.
